In addition to the RP2040 chip and Flash memory, the user has a 3.3 V voltage stabiliser, an RGB diode and GPIO outputs where peripherals such as 12-bit ADC, PWM inputs, I2C, SPI and UART interfaces are brought out. The module is programmed via an 8-pin FPC connector (an FPC-USB adapter is required). The use of such a connector reduces the size of the board and eliminates the protruding USB connector, making it easier to install in the target device.
The platform supports the popular MicroPython and C/C++ programming languages. Programmes can be uploaded to the memory using a USB interface. A guide with examples of use is available on the product page.
