Rapberry Pi RP2040 is a microcontroller designed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is equipped with two ARM Cortex M0 + cores with a maximum clock speed of 133 MHz, 264 KB of RAM and support for external flash memory, with a QSPI interface with a capacity of up to 16 MB. The system is equipped with 30 GPIO, 4 of which can also work in analog mode, 16 with PWM modulation, and 8 in PIO mode, thanks to which the microcontroller can emulate e.g. the DVI / HDMI image transmission interface. For communication with RP2040, two UART communication interfaces, two SPI and two I2C can be used, which can be assigned to different ports, and a USB 1.1 interface that can work in the Host, Device and mass memory mode with UF2 support, which allows for Drag & Drop programming. The system can be programmed in C / C ++ or microPython.
