Description
The ArduCAM 8MP IMX219 Night Vision module is a specialized camera for the Raspberry Pi, designed for use in low-light conditions and complete darkness. Equipped with an 8 MP Sony IMX219 sensor, it delivers high image quality similar to the standard V2 module, but without an IR filter (NoIR), enabling infrared light capture. This makes the camera ideal for night surveillance, wildlife observation, and agricultural monitoring—such as nighttime crop inspection.
This module is popular among night photography enthusiasts and nature lovers. With additional IR LEDs, it can capture scenes invisible to the human eye without disturbing the environment. It supports standard Raspberry Pi video resolutions, such as 1080p and 640x480 at very high frame rates. Its compact board dimensions allow it to fit into most enclosures and DIY projects. It is fully compatible with popular Raspberry Pi models: 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, Zero & Zero W.
