Description

The ArduCAM camera module is a modern solution designed for single-board computers from the Raspberry Pi series. It features an Omnivision OV5647 sensor, capable of capturing images at a resolution of 5 MP (2592×1944) and recording smooth videos in 1080p (30 fps), 720p (60 fps), and 480p (90 fps). Thanks to the digitally controlled lens, the focus can be adjusted for optimal image sharpness. Additionally, the camera includes a built-in IR filter, ensuring that only visible light is captured.

Monitoring the 3D printing process can be challenging, especially when prints take several hours. With this camera, users can track printing progress in real time, ensuring precise control over the created object. Many cameras are not designed to work with 3D printing software, often resulting in a lack of technical support. ArduCAM eliminates this issue by providing easy installation and configuration.

The ArduCAM camera is a versatile solution suitable not only for monitoring 3D printers but also for applications in IoT, robotics, wildlife observation systems, and various projects based on MCU, Raspberry Pi, ARM, DSP, and FPGA. The included acrylic enclosure and multiple FPC ribbon cables make the camera easy to install and compatible with various Raspberry Pi models.
