5 MP camera module with OV5647 sensor designed for Raspberry Pi boards equipped with a CSI connector. The camera supports video recording at 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90, as well as still images at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Communication is handled via the MIPI CSI-2 interface, enabling high-speed image data transfer.
The module features a fisheye wide-angle lens with a focal length of 3.15 mm and F2.35 aperture. The field of view is approximately 160° (diagonal), allowing capture of a very wide scene. The lens supports manual focus adjustment.
The module includes two 850 nm IR LEDs, enabling image capture in complete darkness. The camera does not include an IR-cut filter, which allows night vision operation but may result in inaccurate color reproduction in daylight conditions.
Compact dimensions and detachable IR illumination modules allow integration in night monitoring systems, security applications and embedded vision projects.
