Designed for automated programming and configuration of Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 modules in production, integration and service environments. The jig supports operating system image installation as well as Secure Boot and full-disk encryption configuration using rpi-sb-provisioner. Direct contact through pogo pins eliminates the need for a separate IO board, while the mechanical clamp keeps the CM5 securely positioned during programming. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, WiFi connectivity, USB-C and LED status indicators support efficient and repeatable provisioning. Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Programming Jig (SC2357)
Designed for automated programming and configuration of individual Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 modules, the Programming Jig (SC2357) supports production, integration and service workflows. The jig works with rpi-sb-provisioner, which automates operating system image installation and security configuration. Three provisioning modes are available: secure-boot for full security configuration, fde-only for storage encryption with device-specific keys, and naked for operating system installation without additional security features. The CM5 module is placed directly in the programming bay, where spring-loaded pogo pins connect to its contact points without requiring a separate IO board. A mechanical clamping mechanism secures the CM5 in the correct position and initiates the automated provisioning process when closed.

Connection to the provisioning environment can be established through the JIG ETH Gigabit Ethernet port or 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, while the second DUT ETH Gigabit Ethernet port provides a direct network connection for the programmed CM5 and can accelerate operating system image transfer. The USB-C USB BOOT port is used to program the internal storage of the jig itself, including installation of its operating system with Raspberry Pi Imager. LED indicators show the status of the jig, the connected module and the current provisioning stage. During a typical workflow, the system detects the module, starts a temporary Linux environment, prepares the security configuration, formats the storage and writes the operating system image. For an image of approximately 2.6GB, typical provisioning time in naked mode is around 1.5min, although the actual duration depends on image size, storage type and network throughput. The SC2357 is intended particularly for preparing batches of CM5 modules that require repeatable system configuration and security settings.
