Description

Waveshare 33137 is a kit based on a full color 7.3inch E-Paper display using E Ink Spectra 6 (E6) technology. The module is designed to work with Raspberry Pi Zero computers and provides an energy-efficient solution for displaying images, information and graphics in applications that require long image retention without power.

The display operates in a passive, reflective mode, has no backlight and retains the last displayed content even after complete power disconnection. This makes it ideal for very low power applications such as digital photo frames, information boards and IoT projects.

The module is integrated with an elegant solid wood frame, equipped with a rotatable stand and a wall-mount hook. The construction allows the device to be used both in a standing and wall-mounted position in various usage scenarios.

The kit includes a built-in UPS circuit, a high-precision DS3231 real-time clock and battery power support. This allows simultaneous battery charging and system power supply, and in the event of external power loss, automatic switching to battery power. Monitoring of voltage, current, power and battery charge level is carried out via the I2C bus.

The product complies with the Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard and is intended for use with Raspberry Pi Zero boards, including Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 WHC board is not included in the kit.
