VL53L8CX sensor module that offers fast and accurate distance measurement up to 4 m via I²C or SPI digital interface. It can measure distances to multiple targets simultaneously, providing depth map data with a resolution of up to 8x8. The built-in power supply circuit allows operation in the voltage range from 3.2 V to 5.5 V. Pololu 3419
VL53L8CX is a TOF sensor from ST Microelectronics that allows precise distance measurement. It has been integrated into a compact module and is a perfect solution for projects requiring precise distance measurements. It is a miniature lidar system with a built-in class 1 940 nm laser, which guarantees eye-safe use of the device. The sensor uses advanced FlightSense technology, which precisely measures the time it takes the emitted infrared pulse to reach the object and return to the detector. This allows for accurate distance measurements regardless of lighting conditions and target characteristics. The VL53L8CX offers multi-zone distance measurement up to 8x8 zones, which allows you to read separate values for individual zones, which allows it to function as a simple 3D lidar.

The sensor can measure distances up to 4 m with a resolution of 1 mm, making it ideal for applications in a variety of projects, from robotics to object detection. A digital interface is used for communication, which can operate in I²C or SPI mode. The built-in power circuit ensures the appropriate supply voltages and interface logic level, making it an ideal tool for students, hobbyists and professionals.
