Description
The VL53L3CX is a ToF (Time of Flight) laser rangefinder from STMicroelectronics. It combines a powerful proximity sensor with distance measurement to multiple objects and automatic streak correction. The miniature chip integrates the SPAD LED and physical infrared filters to achieve the best performance in a variety of lighting conditions. The VL53L3CX has a field of view of approximately 25 ° and is capable of detecting objects up to 5m away, making it ideal for robotics, IoT and smart lighting applications. There is a voltage stabilizer on the board. The module communicates via the I2C interface, and the manufacturer of the system provides an API that facilitates the operation of the sensor.
