Description
reTerminal E1002 is a 7.3-inch full-color ePaper display, designed as a ready-to-use HMI device for data visualization and modern dashboards. It features an E Ink® Spectra™ 6 display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, delivering vivid colors, excellent readability, and a print-like appearance—ideal for digital frames and information panels. At its core is an ESP32-S3 with 8 MB PSRAM, ensuring smooth interface performance and extensive expandability.
The device natively supports SenseCraft HMI—a no-code platform that enables drag-and-drop interface design without programming. This allows users to create and deploy custom dashboards based on sensor data or internet APIs within minutes. The reTerminal E1002 also works with Home Assistant (ESPHome), TRMNL E-ink Dashboard, and development environments such as Arduino, PlatformIO, and ESP-IDF. An integrated 2000 mAh battery combined with an energy-efficient design provides up to 3 months of operation on a single charge in deep sleep mode. This makes it easy to place on a desk, mount on a wall, or install anywhere without frequent recharging.
The reTerminal E1002 includes built-in temperature and humidity sensors, as well as a buzzer and microphone for future voice-enabled applications. Its solid enclosure, true out-of-the-box readiness, and options for hardware and software customization make it suitable for home, educational, and industrial use. It is an ideal solution for color IoT dashboards, information systems, data monitoring, and aesthetically pleasing, ultra-low-power ePaper displays.
