Description

A smart device with a 3.97" touchscreen ePaper display and a resolution of 800 x 480 px, designed to show notes, reminders, weather information, time, and photos. The reTerminal Sticky features a built-in microphone and AI capabilities for creating notes and tasks using voice commands, while WiFi and Bluetooth LE connectivity enable configuration and remote device management. Its construction includes magnetic mounting, a 750 mAh battery, and a housing measuring just 7.3 mm thick, allowing the display to be attached to a refrigerator, metal board, or another surface using an appropriate magnetic mount. AI-powered voice control allows users to create notes without typing on the screen. Voice control currently officially supports English and Simplified Chinese, so recognition of commands in other languages, including Polish, is not guaranteed.

The ePaper display presents information without continuous screen backlighting, helping reduce power consumption while maintaining readability in daylight. The reTerminal Sticky can serve as a reminder board in the kitchen, a household task schedule in the hallway, or an additional information display at a workstation.

The magnetic mounting system allows the device to be installed without drilling holes in walls. A built-in magnet enables attachment to ferromagnetic surfaces, while the included magnetic mounting ring with an adhesive backing facilitates installation in other locations. Measuring 106 x 65.5 x 7.3 mm and weighing 70 g, the device can be easily moved between locations. The integrated 750 mAh lithium battery is charged through a USB-C port, while 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth LE 5.0 provide connectivity and device configuration capabilities.

The Seeedash mobile app enables remote management of the reTerminal Sticky from an Android or iOS smartphone. Once connected to a WiFi network, the reTerminal Sticky can receive content updates without maintaining a continuous Bluetooth connection to the phone.

During initial setup, the Seeedash app enables Bluetooth pairing and configuration of a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection. Additional tools for creating and publishing custom content are available through the Seeedash Web platform. The reTerminal Sticky also supports alternative firmware installation, extending its functionality beyond a standard digital notepad. After changing the firmware, the device can operate as an e-book reader using CrossPoint, display information through TRMNL BYOD, or function as a smart home panel using ESPHome and OpenDisplay. Available features depend on the selected software, and installing alternative firmware requires following the appropriate installation procedure.
