The Akyga® AK-SC-E16 is a three-phase Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) plug designed for charging electric vehicles at European AC charging stations. Also known as a Mennekes connector, it represents the standard in EV charging infrastructure. The plug supports current transmission up to 32 A, ensuring fast and efficient charging in both single-phase and three-phase installations.
Its robust construction and the use of silver-plated contacts provide high resistance to corrosion, reduced risk of overheating, and increased product durability. The plug is ideal as a replacement for damaged connectors or for building custom EVSE cables.
The set includes a 220 Ω resistor necessary for the proper functioning of the connection detection circuit. Installation should be performed by a qualified person to ensure complete safety in use.
