Gravity: 360 Degree Hall Angle Sensor is a rotation angle sensor that uses a Hall effect. The sensor is supplied with 5 V voltage and returns the angle of rotation as an analog value in the range of 0-5 V, proportional to the angle of rotation achieved. Accuracy is dictated by the ADC resolution and for the 12-bit transmitter is 0.088 °. The sensor has a connector compatible with DFRobot Gravity, so it can be easily connected, for example, to the Arduino kit.
The housing of the angle sensor is made of durable aluminum alloy, using Hall-type non-contact technology. It contains high-quality stainless steel bearings and other components to reduce frictional resistance while taking readings. The sensor is protected against electromagnetic interference, adverse effects of liquids, vibrations and shock. It is characterized by small dimensions and high accuracy. It can be used in all kinds of projects that require precise angle measurements, such as robotic arm control, valve position in automation systems or machine tools.
