The module is designed to support incremental encoders. It reads signals from the rotary encoder and sends them to the connected main module via the I2C interface. It allows you to add an encoder to your project in an easy and quick way. there is no soldered encoder (not included), so the user can choose the appropriate element according to the pin layout used. The module is powered with a voltage of 3.3 V to 5 V, and communication takes place via the STEMMA QT connector or the 2.54 mm goldpin connector. The I2C address can be modified using 3 jumpers, which allows you to connect up to 8 modules on one bus. Full documentation is available on the product page.
