Description

The device Waveshare ESP32-C6-Touch-LCD-1.54 uses the ESP32-C6 microcontroller with a 32-bit single-core RISC-V processor running at up to 160MHz. The controller provides 512KB SRAM, 320KB ROM and 16MB Flash memory. Wireless connectivity includes 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE and IEEE 802.15.4, supporting projects based on protocols including Zigbee 3.0 and Thread.

The onboard 1.54-inch IPS LCD provides a 240 × 240px resolution and supports 262K colors. The ST7789 display controller communicates through a 4-wire SPI interface, while the capacitive touch panel uses the CST816 controller. The active display area measures 27.72 × 27.72mm. The display and touch interface can be used for compact HMI systems, control terminals, IoT devices and graphical applications.

The module also integrates a QMI8658 6-axis IMU, dual microphones, an ES7210 audio capture IC, ES8311 codec, NS4150B amplifier and onboard speaker. The hardware provides a platform for audio recording and playback, noise reduction, echo cancellation, voice functions and applications responding to device motion and orientation. A TF / microSD card slot provides additional storage for data and multimedia files.

The USB Type-C port is used for programming and communication, while I2C and UART interfaces allow external devices to be connected. The module also includes programmable function buttons and an MX1.25 2PIN connector for a 3.7V lithium battery with charging and discharging support. Waveshare 34659 is supplied with a 3.7V battery. The manufacturer's factory firmware includes functions such as AI conversation, audio playback, photo album, text reading and a motion-controlled gravity ball game.
