Description

The device Waveshare ESP32-C6-LCD-1.54 uses the ESP32-C6 microcontroller with a 32-bit single-core RISC-V processor running at up to 160MHz. The controller provides 512KB SRAM, 320KB ROM and 16MB Flash memory. Wireless connectivity includes 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE and IEEE 802.15.4, allowing the module to be used in projects based on protocols including Zigbee 3.0 and Thread.

Waveshare ESP32-C6-LCD-1.54 - ESP32-C6 module with 1.54-inch IPS LCD

The onboard 1.54-inch IPS LCD provides a 240 × 240px resolution and supports 262K colors. The display uses the ST7789 controller and communicates through a 4-wire SPI interface. Waveshare 34658 does not include a touch panel. The display can be used for status screens, HMI interfaces, IoT devices and compact graphical applications.

The module also integrates a QMI8658 6-axis IMU with a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope, dual microphones, ES7210 and ES8311 audio ICs, an NS4150B amplifier and a speaker. The hardware configuration supports projects involving audio capture and playback, voice-based interaction and applications responding to device motion and orientation.

Additional hardware includes a TF / microSD card slot, PLUS, PWR and BOOT buttons, an onboard antenna and a USB Type-C port for programming and communication. I2C and UART interfaces are provided for connecting external devices. The MX1.25 2PIN connector supports a 3.7V lithium battery together with charging and discharging functions. Waveshare 34658 is supplied with a 3.7V 1000mAh battery designed for installation inside the enclosure.
