Description
TFT LCD driver with DPI interface dedicated to Raspberry Pi. It allows you to replace the standard solution with an HDMI signal decoder with a cheaper counterpart. The module is connected to the minicomputer via a 40-pin connector and uses pins from GPIO2 to GPIO21, so the user must take into account the lack of many communication interfaces, including UART, I2C or SPI. In addition, the driver replaces the HDMI output, so it is not possible to use both interfaces at the same time. The module works with with 5-inch and 7-inch displays with a resolution of 800x480 px with a 40-pin DPI interface, and the brightness of the display is configured using jumpers. The controller also allows you to operate resistive touch panels. It will work in projects where the user does not need all GPIOs and wants to easily add a high-quality display.
