The TerasIC HDMI_TX P0084 module enables HDMI transmission using the HSMC interface in FPGA projects. Compatibility with the latest HDMI standards and the provided source code accelerate the development and testing of vision and multimedia applications in FPGA-based systems.
Description
HDMI transmitter module equipped with an HSMC (High Speed Mezzanine Connector) interface, designed to work with TerasIC FPGA main boards and other HSMC-compatible systems. It enables HDMI video and audio signal transmission using a transmitter compliant with HDMI 1.3a, HDCP 1.2, and DVI 1.0 standards. The module is powered by 3.3 V and 12 V lines from the HSMC interface and also includes a 2K EEPROM for configuration data.
The set includes a complete reference design in Verilog and C, allowing quick implementation of HDMI transmission in FPGA applications. Various video formats are supported, including 720p, 1080p, and 1600×1200, as well as color spaces RGB444, YUV422, and YUV444.
