The MKL46Z256VLL4 microcontroller offers a maximum operating frequency of 48MHz, 256KB flash memory, 32KB RAM, full size USB controller, segment LCD controller and loads of analog and digital peripherals. The FRDM-KL46Z is compatible with the Arduino ™ R3 pinout, providing a wide variety of expansion card options. The built-in interfaces include a 4-digit LCD display, a 3-axis digital accelerometer, a capacitive touch slider and an ambient light sensor. The FRDM-KL46Z has a built-in Freescale open standard serial and debugging port known as OpenSDA. On the manufacturer's website, there is an instruction that will help you get started with the kit.
