FRDM-K64F is a starter kit from the Freedom Development Platform designed for the development and prototyping of applications based on Kinetis K64 microcontrollers from NXP Semiconductors. The board is suitable for embedded systems projects, IoT applications, network communication and solutions requiring high processing performance and a wide range of peripheral interfaces.
The kit is based on the Kinetis K64 microcontroller with an Arm Cortex-M4 core, offering a clock frequency of up to 120 MHz, 1 MB of Flash memory and 256 kB of RAM. On-board peripherals include an Ethernet interface, an SD card controller with a microSD slot, and a USB port operating in dual-role mode, enabling the implementation of advanced communication projects.
FRDM-K64F features an integrated OpenSDAv2 debug interface, allowing programming and debugging without the need for external tools. The standard mechanical form factor of the Freedom platform and the Arduino Rev3 compatible I/O layout facilitate system expansion with additional modules and expansion boards.

This version of the kit does not include the onboard FXOS8700CQ accelerometer!
