USGlobalSat's EM-506N5 GPS receiver is based on a powerful GNSS receiver from MediaTek, which operates in the L1 band. It allows receiving signals from GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS satellites and determining geographic position with an accuracy of up to 2.5 meters. The EM-506N5 is a small-sized module, which allows it to be easily integrated into various types of electronic devices. The module has a voltage regulation circuit, LED status indicator, battery-backed RAM and built-in antenna. It provides excellent sensitivity and performance even in harsh environments. It supports communication via the UART interface and offers data in the form of NMEA 0183 V3.01/V4.1 protocol-compliant frames (GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG, GLL, ZDA, GRS, GST).
