Description
The SIM7070G module is a versatile global NB-IoT communication module designed to support multiple data transmission protocols such as CAT-M, NB-IoT, GSM, GPRS, and EDGE. Additionally, its integrated GNSS positioning system (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) makes it an ideal solution for applications like smart logistics, asset monitoring, smart cities, agriculture, and forestry. With support for a wide range of frequency bands, the SIM7070G ensures full compatibility with networks worldwide. This solution enables easy integration with various hardware and software platforms, offering stable and efficient communication even in demanding environments.
The integrated AT command set allows for rapid software development without the need for low-level protocol programming. It supports popular communication protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, FTP, CoAP, NIDD, and PING, significantly reducing implementation time. The module features two communication interfaces – UART and USB 2.0 – allowing it to be connected to microcontrollers, PCs, and industrial single-board computers. It also has a low power consumption (approx. 14 mA), making it suitable for battery-powered IoT applications. Certifications like FCC, CE, CCC, Anatel, AT&T, and Verizon ensure the SIM7070G meets international standards of quality and safety, enabling its use in global projects.
