SIM800L V2.0 module with support for four-band GSM/GPRS network, available for remote GPRS and SMS data transmission. SIM800L communicates with the microcontroller via the UART port, supports AT commands, including 3GPP TS 27.007, 27.005 and improved AT SIMCOM commands. It also has a built-in logic level translator, thanks to which it can work with a microcontroller with a higher voltage than the 2.8 V by default. In addition, it supports the A-GPS technique, which is called mobile positioning and obtains position via the cellular network. Thanks to these functions it can also be a tracking module.
