Soil moisture sensor with analog output. For measurement, it uses the change in conductivity of the hygroscopic probe material (resistance sensor). The probe has two pointed tabs, which allows it to be easily inserted into the ground. The measuring probe is metallized, which makes the sensor more resistant to oxidation. The analog output voltage level increases in proportion to the earth moisture level. The sensor is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. It can be used, for example, in automatic watering systems.
