Soil moisture sensor with I2C interface. The measurement uses the change in conductivity of the hygroscopic probe material (resistance sensor). The probe has two pointed tabs, making it easy to insert into the ground. Due to the gold-plating of the measuring tip, the sensor has better measuring properties and is more resistant to oxidation than, for example, tinned probes. The analog output voltage level increases in proportion to the ground moisture level. The sensor is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V.
