Description

Industrial edge router designed for automation systems, IoT, energy applications and infrastructure requiring high connection availability. Teltonika RUTC42 uses two independent 4G LTE Cat 4 modems, each supporting download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, as well as 3G and 2G networks. Two Mini SIM slots and two eSIMs enable independent SIM switching for each modem, supporting Failover and Load Balancing functions. The router provides dual-band WiFi 6 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax with MU-MIMO, speeds up to 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz and 576 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, support for up to 500 simultaneous clients and five Gigabit Ethernet ports: one WAN and four LAN ports.

A dual-core 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB DDR4 RAM and 8 GB eMMC provide resources for local data processing, while Docker support enables custom containerized applications to run directly on the router. A USB 2.0 port and digital input and output expand integration capabilities with external equipment. RutOS provides routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN and industrial protocol support, while Teltonika RMS enables remote configuration and monitoring. A 9-50 VDC input range, passive PoE through LAN1 and an aluminium enclosure support use in industrial installations, monitoring systems, telemetry and environments requiring connection redundancy and local data processing.
