Description

Industrial edge router designed to provide global LTE, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity together with local application execution in IoT systems, automation and distributed industrial infrastructure. Teltonika RUTC40 uses a Telit 4G LTE Cat 4 modem with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, while two Mini SIM slots and eSIM support enable automatic connection switching in cases such as weak signal, roaming, network loss or data connection failure. The router provides dual-band WiFi 6 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax with MU-MIMO, up to 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz and 576 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, support for up to 512 simultaneous WiFi clients and five Gigabit Ethernet ports: one WAN and four LAN.

A dual-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of eMMC storage provide resources for local data processing, while Docker support allows containerized applications and custom services to run directly on the router. A USB 2.0 port, GNSS receiver and digital input and output extend integration capabilities with external devices. RutOS provides routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN and support for Modbus, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet and MQTT, while Teltonika RMS enables remote configuration and monitoring. The 9-50 VDC input range, passive PoE on LAN1 and anodised aluminium enclosure support use in edge computing, monitoring, energy systems, building automation and installations requiring local data analysis and cloud integration.
