Description

Industrial cellular router designed for integrating devices using RS232 and RS485 interfaces with cellular networks, Ethernet, IoT and M2M systems. Teltonika RUT906 supports 4G LTE Cat 4 with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, as well as 3G and 2G networks. Two Mini SIM slots enable automatic SIM switching in cases including weak signal, roaming, network loss or data connection failure. The router provides WiFi 4 802.11b/g/n with support for up to 100 simultaneous clients, one 10/100 Mbps WAN port and three 10/100 Mbps LAN ports, as well as RS232 with RTS/CTS flow control and RS485 supporting both 2-wire and 4-wire operation. The extensive I/O set includes digital inputs, a galvanically isolated input, an analogue input with 4-20 mA support, open-collector outputs and a relay output.

The OpenWrt-based RutOS operating system provides routing, load balancing, automatic WAN Failover, firewall, VLAN, VPN and support for Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet and MQTT. The GNSS receiver supports GPS together with NMEA 0183, NTRIP and geofencing functions, enabling use in mobile installations and location-tracking systems. USB 2.0 allows connection of external storage, USB-to-Serial adapters, modems and other devices, while the internal microSD slot supports cards up to 2 TB. Teltonika RMS provides remote configuration, monitoring and VPN access. 9-30 VDC power input and passive PoE 9-30 VDC, an aluminium housing and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C support deployment in industrial automation, telemetry, energy systems, transportation, measurement applications and remote infrastructure monitoring.
