Description

Outdoor 5G router designed to provide high-speed mobile connectivity in installations operating outside buildings. Teltonika OTD500 supports 5G Sub-6 GHz SA/NSA with download speeds up to 3.4 Gbps, 4G LTE Cat 19 with download speeds up to 1.6 Gbps, as well as 3G networks. Dual SIM with automatic SIM switching helps maintain connectivity in cases such as weak signal, network loss, roaming or data connection failure. The router also supports eSIM™ with storage for up to 7 profiles, expanding operator flexibility without replacing a physical SIM card. The PC+ASA plastic housing provides an IP55 ingress protection rating, while four integrated mobile antennas support frequency bands used by 5G, LTE and 3G networks.

The router is equipped with two 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can be configured as WAN, including 1 x PoE In 802.3af/at and 1 x PoE Out 802.3af Alternative B with a maximum output power of 15 W. The OpenWrt-based RutOS operating system provides routing, load balancing, firewall, VLAN, VPN and VRF functions, as well as support for Modbus TCP, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet and MQTT. A TPM 2.0 module supports identification and authentication mechanisms, while Teltonika RMS enables remote monitoring, configuration and firmware updates. An operating temperature range from -40°C to 55°C and a mounting bracket for vertical surfaces or poles allow the OTD500 to be used in energy systems, industrial automation, monitoring installations, smart city infrastructure and outdoor IoT applications requiring high-throughput mobile connectivity.
