Description

Industrial IoT gateway designed for cellular communication over the LTE 450 band and data exchange between automation equipment, meters, controllers, and remote monitoring systems. Teltonika TRB236 Cat1 LTE450 supports 4G LTE Cat 1 with download speeds up to 10 Mbps and upload speeds up to 5 Mbps, as well as 2G connectivity up to 236.8 kbps. Operation in the 450 MHz band supports communication in distributed utility, energy, telemetry, and infrastructure installations. Two Mini SIM slots enable connection redundancy scenarios. The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface, RS232, and RS485 provide connectivity for both IP-based and serial industrial equipment. Supported industrial and IoT protocols include Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet, OPC UA, MQTT, DNP3, and DLMS/COSEM.

Network functions include static and dynamic routing, VLAN, failover, QoS, firewall, and VPN technologies including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, and DMVPN. Three configurable digital I/O channels and an 0-30 V analog input provide signal monitoring and control capabilities for external equipment. OpenWrt-based RutOS supports management through WebUI, SSH, SNMP, FOTA, and Teltonika RMS. The 9-57 VDC input range, aluminium housing, IP30 protection rating, and operating temperature from -40°C to 75°C allow the TRB236 to operate in distributed telemetry systems, utilities, energy infrastructure, and industrial remote monitoring and control installations.
