Description

Industrial IoT gateway designed to provide cellular connectivity and data exchange between automation devices, telemetry systems and M2M installations. Teltonika TRB160 supports 4G LTE Cat 6 with carrier aggregation, providing download speeds up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, while 3G support enables transmission speeds up to 42 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload. Interfaces include 1 x Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps and USB Type-C, which supports simultaneous 5 V power delivery and data transmission through a virtual network interface. The gateway supports Modbus TCP, OPC UA Client, MQTT, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM and BACnet/IP, while routing, VLAN, Failover, Load Balancing and VPN functions enable integration of industrial equipment with local and remote network systems.

Two configurable digital I/O channels can operate as inputs or outputs for monitoring signals and controlling external equipment. Management options include WebUI, SSH, SNMP, FOTA and Teltonika RMS, while the OpenWrt-based RutOS runs on a Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A7 1.28 GHz processor with 128 MB RAM and 256 MB Flash memory. Power can be supplied through the industrial 4-pin 9-30 VDC connector, USB Type-C at 5 VDC or passive PoE over Ethernet at 9-30 VDC. An anodised aluminium enclosure, IP30 rating and operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C support use in industrial automation, telemetry, energy systems, remote monitoring and distributed IoT installations.
