Description

Industrial Ethernet router designed for network isolation, communication with automation devices and integration of equipment using the RS232 interface. Teltonika RUT142 features two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports – one WAN and one LAN – and an RS232 port with a DB9 connector. The WiFi 4 802.11b/g/n module can operate in Access Point or Station mode and supports up to 50 simultaneous connections. Wireless features include WPA3, 802.11s mesh, 802.11r fast roaming, as well as 802.11k and 802.11v mechanisms. The router can be powered via an industrial 3-pin 9-30 VDC connector or through 9-30 VDC passive PoE on the LAN port, which is not compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards.

The OpenWrt-based RutOS operating system provides routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN and load balancing functions, as well as support for Modbus TCP and RTU over RS232, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet and MQTT. The serial interface can also be used for communication with industrial devices and Serial over IP connections. Teltonika RMS enables remote monitoring, configuration and firmware updates. The aluminium housing, operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C and integrated DIN rail mounting bracket facilitate installation in control cabinets, automation systems, telemetry installations and machine networks.
