Description
RPLIDAR A1M8-R6 is an affordable 2-dimensional laser scanning solution developed by SLAMTEC, enabling a full 360° scan within a range of up to 12 meters. By generating a real-time point cloud, the scanner is used in mobile robotics, localization, environment mapping, and spatial modeling. The sampling frequency reaches up to 8000 times per second, which is the highest parameter in its price class.
The device is based on the laser triangulation method and achieves optimal performance in indoor environments and sheltered outdoor spaces without direct sunlight. Thanks to OPTMAG technology, it ensures extended lifespan and stable operation without contact-based signal transmission.
An ideal solution for SLAM projects, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and environment scanning for analytical purposes or 3D reconstruction.
