TFmini Plus is a compact LiDAR distance sensor based on time-of-flight (ToF) technology. It enables measurements in the range of 0.1 m to 12 m with an accuracy of up to ±5 cm at close range and ±1% at longer distances. With a high measurement frequency of up to 1000 Hz, it is well-suited for applications requiring fast data refresh rates.
The device uses an 850 nm LED light source with a 3.6° field of view, providing precise measurements in robotics, UAVs, obstacle avoidance systems, and industrial measurement applications. It supports UART, I2C, and IO interfaces, making integration with various development platforms easier.
