Description

The Kitronik ZIP Hex LED module features a single WS2812Mini RGB LED capable of displaying a full spectrum of colors and creating programmable lighting effects controlled by a microcontroller, including the BBC micro:bit. Its operating voltage range of 3.5 V to 5 V makes it compatible with many popular educational and development platforms.

                                                                         

The hexagonal PCB design and evenly spaced connection pads around the board allow multiple modules to be daisy-chained for power distribution and data transfer between LEDs. Mounting holes compatible with M3 screws, together with the ability to connect crocodile clips or wires directly to the pads, simplify integration into educational, decorative, and interactive projects.
