LR1262 Long-Range LoRa Wireless Transceiver is a compact wireless communication module designed for IoT systems, industrial automation, and applications requiring reliable long-distance data transmission. The device is based on the Semtech SX1262 chip, which uses advanced LoRa modulation to provide high interference immunity and significantly longer communication range compared to traditional FSK and GFSK technologies. The module supports global ISM bands 850–930 MHz, including the widely used 868 MHz and 915 MHz ranges utilized in LoRa and LoRaWAN networks.

With a maximum transmit power of +22 dBm and an extremely high receiver sensitivity of up to -148 dBm, the module provides an impressive link budget of up to 170 dB. This allows communication ranges typically reaching 6–7 km, and in favorable conditions even up to 15 km. The module supports a wide range of data transmission rates from 0.018 to 62.5 kb/s, enabling performance optimization depending on application requirements—from ultra-long-range communication to higher throughput.

The device features a high-quality industrial 32 MHz TCXO oscillator, ensuring stable operation over a wide temperature range and high frequency accuracy. The module is also characterized by very low power consumption, drawing only 1.62 µA in sleep mode, which makes it ideal for battery-powered devices and long-lifetime systems. The 20-pin stamp-hole package allows easy integration directly onto a PCB, while the compact size of 10 × 10 × 3.5 mm enables use in very small devices. Communication with a microcontroller is performed via the SPI interface, therefore proper operation requires an MCU driver or a dedicated SPI debugging tool.
The LR1262 module can be used in projects such as smart cities, smart agriculture, industrial automation, environmental monitoring, smart home systems, logistics systems, and medical devices. Thanks to its high performance and energy efficiency, it is an ideal solution for long-range wireless communication systems.
