Rogowski current probe designed for measuring high-amplitude AC currents up to 12,000 A, offering a wide bandwidth from 2 Hz to 30 MHz and a sensitivity of 0.5 mV/A. Its near-zero impedance enables accurate measurements without affecting the circuit under test, which is useful for analyzing fast waveforms and power systems (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN). Micsig RCP12000XS-80
Micsig RCP12000XS-80 is a Rogowski current probe designed for precise measurement of alternating currents with high amplitudes, reaching up to 12000 A. Thanks to the Rogowski coil technology, the probe features nearly zero insertion impedance, enabling measurement without affecting the tested circuit. This is particularly important in applications requiring high accuracy and minimal interference. The device offers a wide bandwidth of up to 30 MHz, allowing analysis of rapidly changing signals and high-frequency waveforms. As a result, it performs excellently in measuring currents in power transistors such as MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, or GaN, where capturing dynamic changes and high-order harmonics is essential.
The flexible coil design allows easy adaptation to hard-to-reach areas and measurements in systems with complex geometry. The compact cross-section of the coil enables operation even in very tight spaces, for example between the leads of semiconductor components. The probe is equipped with a standard BNC connector, ensuring full compatibility with most oscilloscopes available on the market. With high voltage resistance of up to 1.5 kV, it can be safely used in high-voltage applications.
