15:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HPCB 12V with Extended Motor Shaft

Description

Pololu DC motor equipped with a metal gear with a gear ratio of 15.25: 1. The motor is designed for 12 V power supply and generates a torque of 0.25 kg * cm. The current consumed by the loaded motor is about 60 mA, while the maximum current consumed under load is 750 mA. In this set, the manufacturer used the HPCB series engine, which means that it is equipped with carbon brushes. It is a much more durable solution than the brushes made of metal plates used so far. The motor has an extended shaft on the opposite side of the motor, which makes it easy to install an encoder or other shaft position sensor. The transmission has a D-shaped output shaft with a diameter of 3 mm, which simplifies the installation of the further part of the drive system. It also has an extended motor shaft with dimensions of 4.5 × 1 mm.
