Description
Basic SPDT Relay Carrier is a compact relay module that allows easy control of a single SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch using low-voltage control signals. The board features an Omron G5LE-14-DC12 relay with a 12 V coil, capable of switching currents up to 10 A, making it ideal for controlling loads such as motors, LED lighting, or other DC-powered devices.
The module includes pre-soldered 5 mm screw terminals for relay connections (COM, NO, NC) and a 3-pin JST SH connector for control signals (EN, VDD, GND), compatible with JST SH cables. The circuit is driven directly via a BSS138K MOSFET transistor, allowing the relay to be activated by a logic signal from 2.5 V to 20 V. Two built-in LED indicators show the relay coil status, simplifying diagnostics and integration with microcontrollers.
The board features a Zener diode for fast coil current discharge, and the PCB traces are designed according to electrical safety standards — ensuring a minimum 1.5 mm isolation gap between signal lines. With four mounting holes, the module can be easily installed in enclosures or on prototype boards.
