FRDM-KE16Z is a starter kit with MKE16Z64VLF4 microcontroller. The board has an RGB LED, a 6-axis IMU sensor (accelerometer and magnetometer), a 3-axis digital gyroscope, an ambient temperature sensor, a CAN interface and a capacitive touch panel. The set can be powered with the voltage of 5 V and 3.3 V and is equipped with a connector compatible with Arduino Uno Rev3, thanks to which the user can extend the possibilities with additional sensors and modules, eg FRDM-TOUCH, FRDM-MC-LVBLDC. The kit is an excellent tool for the implementation of projects using motion sensors. The manufacturer has prepared support in the form of software, examples and quick start guide.
