Advanced evaluation board designed for rapid implementation of embedded solutions. Supporting the embOS operating system and SEGGER tools such as emFile, emWin, emUSB and emNet, the board is an ideal platform for software testing and application development in an environment based on the Xilinx Zynq XC7Z007S SoC with ARM Cortex-A9 processor and Artix7 FPGA. Segger emPower Zynq (6.31.00)
emPower-Zynq Evaluation Board is a unique evaluation board designed to accelerate the start of embedded projects. The board features a range of SEGGER products that allow for quick solution deployment. The main software included is the real-time operating system embOS, which forms the heart of the entire platform. Additionally, the kit includes evaluation versions of products such as emFile (file system), emWin (graphics library), emUSB Host and Device, and the emNet TCP/IP stack (including the emWeb demo server), enabling full utilization of the available peripherals on the board.
The emPower-Zynq board is based on the Xilinx Zynq XC7Z007S SoC and features an ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at 666 MHz, 256 KB RAM, and 512 KB L2 cache. It is also equipped with an Artix7-FPGA with 23,000 logic cells, enabling the creation of additional user functions, such as accelerating software algorithms with programmable logic. One of the key elements of the board is the J-Link OB debugger – an integrated version of the industry-recognized SEGGER debugging tool. This makes the debugging process fast and convenient. Additionally, the board offers the ability to connect an external debugging interface (19-pin Cortex-M interface) with trace support.
emPower-Zynq is the optimal platform for testing SEGGER software, thanks to the processor speed and the ability to customize logic with the built-in FPGA. It does not require external RAM, as the emPower OS software is designed to require minimal memory. The fully equipped board enables easy testing and development of applications.
