Description

The development board MYD-AM437X is a complete evaluation platform for Texas Instruments (TI) Sitara AM437x (AM4376, AM4377, AM4378 and AM4379) ARM Cortex-A9 (MPU) microprocessors with optional 3D graphics acceleration and a quad-core programmable Real -time unit interface (PRU) ) and support for two cameras. Typical applications are: patient monitoring, navigation equipment, industrial automation, portable data terminals, barcode scanners, service points, portable mobile radios, tests and measurements, and many more.

The MYD-AM437X development board uses the MYC-AM437X processor module as the main controller board, which integrates the main components, including the AM437x processor, 512 MB DDR3, 4 GB eMMC, 32 KB EEPROM, Gigabit PHY and PMIC (TPS65218). The MYC-AM437X CPU module is mounted on the MYD-AM437X main board via two 2 x 50-pin pitch-to-board connectors with 0.8 mm pitch.

In addition to the functions provided by the CPU module, the motherboard has expanded a rich set of peripherals via SOM connectors and some extended controller chips, including two serial ports, four USB Host ports, one USB Device port, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, one CAN, one RS485 two camera interfaces, one Micro SD, HDMI, LCD, touch screen and many more.

The MYD-AM437X series of discs are four models with different AM437x processors. They differ by the same connectors but work with the same compatible software, minor differences mainly result from the features of the processors.

The MYD-C437X board is capable of running the Linux operating system. It comes with the necessary accessories: with cables, a software disk containing Linux 3.12.10 software packages and detailed documents. MYIR also offers an optional 4.3 and 7-inch LCD module (with a touch screen), USB-based Wi-Fi modules, cameras and camera modules based on the bus for the MYD-C437X board. The complete platform provides a fast AM437x starter kit for users immediately upon receipt of the item immediately after purchase.
