Description
DAQ device based on USB communication and equipped with 8 differential analog inputs and 8 digital inputs/outputs. It offers 24-bit resolution and an update rate of 2 S/s per channel.
There is a dedicated 24-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) converter for each pair of differential inputs, so users can connect a different category of temperature sensor to each pair. The OTD mode is used to detect damaged thermocouples. The module supports thermocouples, RTD, thermistor and semiconductor sensors.
Each channel can be sampled at up to two samples per second, resulting in a total instrument throughput of 16 samples per second. Eight independent TTL compliant digital I/O channels are used to monitor TTL compliant inputs and communicate with external devices.
Extensive software support includes DAQami - an optional out-of-the-box data capture, visualization and signal generation application. Data can be viewed in real time or after acquisition on user-configurable screens. Drivers for the most popular applications and programming languages are also included, including Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual Basic.NET, DASYLab, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Python.
