TMOS PIR Unit is an infrared sensor designed for presence and motion detection. Equipped with the STHS34PF80 sensor, the device communicates with M5 devices via the I2C interface. Its operation is based on the blackbody radiation principle described by Planck’s law, enabling ambient temperature monitoring as well as detection of presence and motion. The sensor can distinguish stationary objects from moving ones and offers a 80-degree field of view for wide-range detection.
