The M5Stack ToF Unit is a module with a ToF laser distance sensor designed for M5Stack sets, which is based on the ToF (Time of Flight) measurement technique. The ToF method measures the time from the emission of an infrared laser pulse to its return to the detector. Thanks to this technique, the VL53L0X sensor enables accurate measurements regardless of the color or reflection of light from the object. The module has a range of up to 2 m with an accuracy of 3%. It is powered with the voltage of 5 V, and communication with the sensor takes place via the I2C interface (Grove connector). It can be used in robotics or devices that require precise measurements. The sensor can detect simple hand gestures. Full documentation is available on the product page.
