Description
Prusament PETG Jet Black is intended for 3D printing parts that require high mechanical strength, good temperature resistance, and long-term durability in everyday use. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a tightly controlled production process, including continuous diameter measurement, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code that allows access to real production data for the specific batch.
PETG material is characterized by low shrinkage and good layer adhesion, which significantly reduces the risk of warping, even when printing larger parts without an enclosed printer. The filament is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including parts exposed to moisture. Compared to PLA, PETG offers higher mechanical strength and flexibility, at the cost of slightly reduced fine detail reproduction.
