Description

Portenta Hat Carrier is a reliable base board that transforms the Portenta X8 into an industrial single-board computer compatible with Raspberry Pi HAT modules and cameras. It meets the requirements needed for many industrial applications such as building automation and machine monitoring. It is also compatible with the Portenta H7 and Portenta C33 and provides easy access to multiple peripherals including CAN, Ethernet, microSD and USB, which further expands the possibilities.

The base board is a perfect solution for prototyping. Fast debugging is possible thanks to dedicated JTAG pins. It allows you to control actuators or read signals from analog sensors using an additional 16 inputs/outputs.

Portenta enables you to go from prototype to efficient real-time solutions. It extends the Portenta SOM modules to enable faster, easier and more efficient testing of ideas, while retaining the industrial-level capabilities and performance known from the Portenta series. A reliable module with add-ons from both the Arduino and Raspberry Pi ecosystems.
