Module dedicated to projects related to air quality monitoring. It uses the popular ENS160 and BME280 chips and provides a variety of environmental data such as Air Quality Index (AQI), TVOCs levels, CO2 equivalent (eCO2), atmospheric pressure, humidity and temperature. It communicates via the I2C interface and offers two Qwiic connectors. SparkFun SEN-22858
SparkFun ENS160/BME280 Environmental Combo Breakout is the perfect solution for all your air quality monitoring needs. The module uses the popular ENS160 and BME280 chips and provides a variety of environmental data such as Air Quality Index (AQI), TVOCs levels, CO2 equivalent (eCO2), atmospheric pressure, humidity and temperature. To further facilitate work with the module, all communication takes place exclusively via the I2C interface, using the convenient Qwiic system. However, if you prefer a breadboard, pins with a pitch of 2.54 mm are also provided.
The ENS160 replaces the popular CCS811 sensor, providing CO2 equivalent (eCO2) readings in parts per million (PPM) and volatile organic compounds in parts per billion (PPB). The sensor can also provide air quality index (AQI) data. The ENS160 also has the ability to adjust its readings if it has access to current humidity and temperature. The BME280 provides humidity, temperature and barometric pressure data, so the sensors work together to provide more accurate readings.
Environmental Combo Breakout is the perfect solution for projects involving building automation, smart homes, HVAC, indoor/outdoor navigation, weather forecasting, and even health and wellness monitoring! Now you have all the necessary data to create advanced and intelligent systems.
