Sensor module for use in the area of virtual reality (VR). It was based on the BNO080 chip, which integrates the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer with the ARM Cortex M0 + microcontroller. The BNO080 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) produces accurate indications of rotation vectors, and sensor data is combined and corrected for drift. The module is equipped with two Qwiic connectors and a connector with a 2.54 mm pitch, on which the I2C, UART and SPI interfaces are led out. The module has an extensive library that provides a ready vector of rotation, as well as accelerometer, gyro and magnetometer readings, step counting and calibration.
