Module with a reflection sensor RPR-220 operating in the infrared band. The sensor consists of an emitter (IR diode) and a receiver (photo transistor) and detects elements at a distance of 4 to 15 mm. The module has a built-in diode indicating the output status and a potentiometer that allows for sensitivity adjustment. The board is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension. The module communicates via a digital interface and is powered with a voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. It can be used as a sensor for robots following a line or for field edge detection.
